Here for you. Guidance and accompaniment that is present, patient, and persistent, with perspective and (sometimes) playfulness too.
Services
Individual therapy (also called counseling)
We meet and do an intake, allowing me to get to know you better and for us to collaboratively identify the goals that seem to be bringing you into counseling at this time. We then work together moving forward, periodically checking in with your goals. I bring the framework of Internal Family Systems, as well as many other approaches I weave in, and you bring anything you want to make sure to touch on with the time we have together. Over time, most commonly, you release trauma and old fears and beliefs, and relax parts of yourself that were causing bothersome symptoms in the present day. You reclaim power and energy from parts of yourself that had been locked in the past or locked into a polarization, a tense inner tug of war, with other parts of yourself. One on one professional consultation
You bring a growing edge or a struggle you are experiencing in your work or theory as a therapist or as an IFS practitioner, a case you are having a hard time conceptualizing or showing up to the way that you want, or one or more parts of you that keep trying to help therapy but perhaps get in the way of you practicing from the most centered place you otherwise might. I bring the IFS model, warm and care, a non-judgmental attitude, and my own experience from years of my own healing work, as well as working in education, ministry, and therapy, to assist you in getting more clarity and hopefully also more ease and spaciousness. Unfortunately, I am not yet an Approved IFS Consultant, which I am working towards, so consultation hours with me do not count toward an accrued total for those seeking IFS Certification. Group therapy
I especially love running the therapy group I designed over the last year, intended for all audiences, especially trauma survivors and neurodivergent folx, called “Building Boundaries and Welcoming Emotions,” to assist with having both authenticity and attachment at the same time. In other words, to be able to be connected to other people, while still being your full true self.
This group draws from IFS, neuroscience, family therapy concepts, and more – in a warm and supportive atmosphere. Learn more about the therapy group here, and click here for information about fees.
I hope to run other therapy groups and support groups in the future, especially around recovering from spiritual or religious trauma, and reclaiming one’s sexuality after trauma. Reach out and let me know if you’d be interested in these or if you have other ideas for a group!
